# How to Make It:
- Arrange the 4 slices of bread on a cutting board. Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each slice.
- Flip each bread slice over so the unbuttered side is facing up. Spread 1 tablespoon pizza sauce on two slices.
- Top the sauced slices with mozzarella cheese, provolone if desired, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Place 6 to 8 slices of pepperoni on each sandwich. Add black olives and herbs if using.
- Cover with remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place sandwiches onto the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until bread is golden and crisp and cheese is melted.
- Remove sandwiches from the skillet. Allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve while warm.
